Radiant Hill Multiplies Communities that Love God, Love People and Radiate Hope.
Love God
We exist to love God with every fiber of our being. We have been created to love Him, know Him and experience Him in every aspect of our lives. Our love for God is a response to His love for us. God knows us and loves us, despite our imperfections. Scripture tells us that loving God is the greatest thing we will ever do. Loving God and being loved by Him is the core of why we exist.
Matthew 22:37-38; Deuteronomy 10:12
Love People
We exist to love people with every fiber of our being. We desire to serve those around us well, not expecting anything in return but praying that those who are far from God would be drawn closer to Him by our love. Scripture tells us that we must care for others as much as we care for ourselves. This means we will graciously and attentively work towards the good of all people and collectively the good of the city.
Matthew 22:39-40; 1 John 4:7
Radiate Hope
We exist to radiate the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ by strategic proclamation and demonstration. When God works in and through His people, it attracts the attention of a watching world – “a city on a hill cannot be hidden”. Although we desire the common good, we more desperately desire our city to know the satisfaction that comes from Jesus Christ alone. The hope that Jesus brings desire our city to know the satisfaction that comes from Jesus Christ alone. The hope that Jesus brings us eliminates our guilt and shame, replacing it with joy and purpose. Ultimately, our chief end is to know God and make Him known.
Matthew 28:18-20; 1 Peter 2:9
Our mission reflects the Great Commandment and Great Commission given by Jesus, as recorded in the Scriptures: that we should love God, love our neighbors and bring the gospel to all peoples of the world.
